Eric Weaver is a veteran digital marketer who has helped myriad Fortune 500 firms across the US engage their markets.
His 18-year marketing career has included multi-channel, online, direct, and event marketing; brand strategy; naming and messaging; competitive research and positioning; even packaging and voice talent. Managing teams at agencies like Young & Rubicam, Edelman, Foote Cone & Belding and others, he has helped launch the Lincoln LS, Lincoln Navigator, Mercury Sable, Sebastian haircare products, Level 3 Communications, the BMW MINI, Ultra Cascade, and several pharma products.
Eric’s specialty area is digital and social branding and marketing. Taking his first steps into the online world 32 years ago, Eric was also one of the first community managers on America Online in 1991, launched his first blog in 1995, and his first podcast in 2005. He is also very active in the social space, founding the Seattle Flickr digital photography meetup (now with nearly 1800 members), and assisting with the Seattle Podcasting Network.
